City of Belfast 2014/2015 Tax Anticipation Note Summary of Council Order and Notice of Public Hearing Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Building, Belfast, Maine, on September 16, for the purpose of taking testimony and comment from the public with respect to the proposed issuance of a tax anticipation note to be issued by the City of Belfast in a principal amount not to exceed $4,000,000 (the "Note"), as scheduled to be brought to public attention at a first reading at a meeting of the City Council held on September 2, 2014. The City Council will consider adoption of the Order immediately following the close of the public hearing, which order authorizes the issuance of the Note in a principal amount not to exceed $4,000,000. Copies of the order are available during normal business hours at the office of the City Clerk and are posted at Belfast City Hall and Belfast Free Library. All interested members of the public are invited to attend and written comments may be submitted to the City Clerk.
